Common questions about solar & window cleaning in Orange County

Below are the questions homeowners in Cypress, Long Beach, Irvine, Anaheim and the rest of Orange County ask us most often about solar panel cleaning, window cleaning service pricing, and holiday light installation. If yours isn't here, text us — we answer directly, and we will tell you when a service is not worth paying for yet.

How often should solar panels be cleaned?

In Southern California, twice a year is the sweet spot for most homes. Coastal properties in Long Beach, Seal Beach and Huntington Beach pick up salt film faster, and homes near freeways or under trees in Cypress, Buena Park and Anaheim collect more dust and droppings. If your production dropped noticeably over the dry season, that is your cue.

Will cleaning void my solar warranty?

Not when it's done correctly. We use deionized water, soft brushes and low pressure — no pressure washing, no abrasive pads, no detergents that leave residue on the glass or degrade seals. That is the method panel manufacturers themselves recommend.

Can you remove hard-water spots from windows?

Usually, yes. Sprinkler overspray and mineral-heavy water etch glass over time. We treat the mineral deposits rather than just wiping the surface. Severe long-term etching may not fully disappear, and we will tell you that before charging you for it.

Do you clean second-story and hard-to-reach glass?

Yes. Two-story homes, sunrooms, skylights, patio enclosures and commercial storefronts across Orange County are routine for us. Our crew is fully insured and uses water-fed poles and proper ladder work instead of risky improvising.

When should I book holiday lights?

Book in September or October. Installation runs from late October through December, and the Cypress, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor and Long Beach calendar fills first. Installation, mid-season repairs, takedown and storage can all be bundled into one price.

Do you offer recurring maintenance?

We do. Quarterly and semi-annual plans for solar and window cleaning keep pricing lower per visit and mean you never have to remember to schedule. Commercial and HOA routes can be set monthly with scheduled invoicing.
